Abdul Hannan is a Pakistani singer-songwriter who studied computer science at GIKI and worked as a software engineer before turning down an engineering job in Berlin to make music instead. The break came with 'Bikhra' (2022) and 'Iraaday', both produced by Rovalio, whose spare electronic arrangements left room for plain-spoken Urdu writing about wanting and losing; the pair made him one of the most-streamed artists in Pakistan, and 'Iraaday' turned up on the US Secretary of State's playlist of the year. He released the EP Diya in 2023 and sang 'O Yaara' with Kaavish on Coke Studio Season 15.
