Gurus Trilogy
Gurus Trilogy were a Karachi band formed in the mid-2000s by keyboardist and producer Mohsin Allahditta and guitarist Sayyam Rana, settling on the name in 2006 once the vocalist Glenn Silverious John joined. 'Dastaan' became their calling card, and the albums Aghaaz and Intezaar followed in 2007. Mohsin is a third-generation musician — son of the music director Javed Allahditta and grandson of the tabla player Ustad Allah Ditta Khan — and describes their blend of ghazal, classical and filmi styles as a reinvention of tradition. Glenn is the son of the playback singer S. B. John.
