Hassan & Roshaan
Hassan & Roshaan are a Lahore pop duo — Hassan Sheikh and Roshaan Sherwani — who met by chance at a gig while studying at LUMS and began writing together in 2019. Their debut Chaar Dinon Ka Khwaab (2020) produced 'Lamha' and 'Doobne De'; the follow-up Day 5 (2022) carried 'Duur Se' and 'Sukoon', the Shae Gill collaboration that went to number one on Spotify in Pakistan. Their reprise of 'Doobne De' found an unlikely second life in Marvel's Ms. Marvel. They call the sound 'contemporary subcontinental': Eastern melody put through Western pop and R&B.
